For our upcoming trip to New Zealand we have put together a mobile recording studio including a Mac Book Pro Retina 15″ running OSX Yosemite, the Universal Audio Apollo Twin and the super light Xkey37 midi keyboard. We will also take along the Neumann U87 famous for its warm and well balanced characteristics for the vocal tracks and a paired set of Gauge USA ECM-84 for acoustic guitar recording. Plus all the small gadgets like external hd, usb hubs, mouse and power cords that are needed for successful recording sessions. That’s quite some equipment to think about! Hopefully it will all fit in our suitcases :-)
